The Baltics were never really on my list, but oh.. I’m so glad how this spontaneous trip turned out!

2. There’s some amazing hidden passages and courtyards to discover in Tallinn Old Town, like St. Catherine’s Passage, Master’s Courtyard (don’t forget the famous Chocolate house there) and the Bastion Passage at Kiek in de Kök.
3. That One Time taking in Tallinn. ✌️
4. Overlooking the city at the Kohtuotsa viewing platform. 🤩
5. Heading over to one of Estonians Islands Saaremaa for the perfect weekend getaway.

With an age of 10.000 years old the bogs is the oldest organic landscape in Estonia. And definitely not a bad place to spend a day. 🤩

Did you expect this to be Estonia?

Did you know Estonia has more than 1500 islands? Most of them are uninhabited, but some of them are inhabited, such as Kuressaare. Expect lots of forest, ocean (duh😉), a cute little town and a massive castle. Oh, and not so many tourists.

Kuressaare is only around four hours by bus from Tallinn, so when you have the time to go out of the city.. Kuressaare might just be the perfect getaway.

When in Akhaltsikhe, Georgia, make sure you don’t miss out on Rabati Castle. It’s one of the most beautiful places to discover in the Samtskhe-Javakheti of Georgia, together with the Cave town of Vardzia from the previous post.
